Architect

For our upcoming Expo 2030 project, a Parma-based design team is expanding. We are seeking a mid-level Architect who will work under the leadership of LAVA Co-founder Chris Bosse in Sydney and in close collaboration with our global studios.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and refine architectural designs from concept through to detailed documentation.

- Create 3D models, parametric systems, and visual presentations using Rhino, Grasshopper, and Revit.

- Coordinate with consultants, clients, and international project teams to ensure design integrity and quality.

- Support project management tasks, including timelines, deliverables, and technical coordination.

- Integrate sustainable design principles and materials into project solutions.

- Contribute to design discussions and reviews within LAVA’s global and European studio network.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Professional degree in Architecture (Master’s preferred).

- 3–5 years of professional experience.

- Strong design and technical skills, with proficiency in Rhino, Grasshopper, and Revit.

- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and construction processes.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in English (additional languages is a plus.)

- Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated, with experience managing multiple project tasks.

- Genuine interest in LAVA’s vision of innovative, human-centered, and sustainable futures.
